Last time Becca was going back at home yet she was very surprised by someone who answered her mother’s phone!

What happened?

Becca on phone was told that the owner of the phone was at the police station. She trembled with fear wondering what happened to her mother but she couldn’t know until she got home.

Chris’ mother on her way back was trying to know clearly what caused both Chris and Becca to be sad. However, Chris did not tell his mother the truth; he chose to lie to her due to the fact that he didn’t want to explain everything about the night Becca slept at the hotel knowing that his mother would take it wrong! He did it for the sake of his relationship with Becca. When they reached home, Chris went in his room and began to review the photos in the way that shows that he was satisfied with Becca’s explanation. He put himself in Becca’s shoes and came to the realization that Becca was not worth the blame for what happened. He thought that Becca was not supposed to tell him what she was going through that night. Immediately there came an idea in his mind about writing a good message to her, just to let her know that he was proud of her and that he was ready to listen to her anytime. Here’s the message he sent to her “Honey, now I have a proof in my heart. I no longer doubt about your true love for me. I know for fact that you love me and I consider it as a great heritage that I will pay with my love as well as listening to you in every circumstance. I love you and I can risk my life if my blood could be the last proof of my love for you Becca”.

The message was delivered to Becca’s phone on the bus. she grabbed the phone and read. Although she was worried about her mother, she read such wonderful words from Chris and she smiled happily happy as she was saying in her heart these words “At least I have what I can boast in middle of people. Chris is my true love” she made a decision right away that she would never in a million years do something that could hurt Chris! Finally, she arrived home. She was in fear thinking that her mother had committed a crime. You know what happened? She was surprised to find her mother at home cooking for her brothers. She greeted her and his brothers!

Becca: mom, who terrified me that you are at police station?

Becca’s mother: yes, it was true. When I finished my job this afternoon they called me to go back at work. There has been a spate of robberies at the store I am responsible for, so I was also suspected and I was under investigation and I was supposed to be there while the investigation was going on. They took our phones so that we could not mess up with investigation, that’s when you called and it was answered by one of them. I was acquitted of robbery and came back home.

Becca: Praise God for that!

Becca’s mother: you are going to tell me where you have been and I will need a clear explanation!

(Becca asked her mother to have a private conversation in her room)

Becca: mom, I want to tell you the whole truth about what happened between me and Chris whom I showed you when you came to see me at school. I have someone I love and his name is Christian (Chris). I love him so much and I think I want to spend my life with him. Very recently there happened something which was not good for our relationship. Someone took photos of me when I was with Glad in a hotel. This made Chris so sad and I decided to go at his place to remedy the situation between me and him.

She told her mother everything and Becca’s mother did not take it for granted. She heard everything about their love and she was satisfied with the way Becca explained it clearly and she became aware of their amazing love! She also thought about how Becca did her best to come back at home on time, she thought about all the plans she was making with Glad and she came to realize that she could affect her daughter with her wrongdoings. She thought about each and everything she was going through with Glad and she said these words.

Becca’s mother: Becca, to be honest, does Chris love you?

Becca: mom, I am not able to see in his heart, I know for fact that he loves me so much and what matters is that I love him. He is my happiness. Honestly, we love each other!

Becca’s mother: well, that’s good! But I want you to make sure that you are doing the right thing. I don’t want to die of sadness of your wrong choice. You know how much I value being with you and don’t forget that you are an example to your two brothers!

Becca assured her mother that she would do her best to achieve her goals and that she would never think of cheating on her lover. On the other hand, Becca’s mother found out that Becca had her own rights to choose whoever she wants. Again, she thought about how she would explain that to Chris and how Chris would take it but she had no other alternative by the way. Obviously Becca’s mother had a lot of things going on in her mind.

After the hard time Becca and Chris went through, they started over and they kept visiting each other throughout the holiday. It seemed like nothing had even happened before and they kept enjoying their love. Amazing love, the world was just like a heaven to them. They cared about nothing except happiness they wanted in love! They could sometimes sit together and thought about the first time they met, and the way they fell in love and they realized that they met for God’s plan! Obviously they were supported by several people and everybody believed the relationship to work out. Becca’s mother had just cooled down and let them with their stuff. Every time when Chris went at Becca’s, he was welcomed and her mother was proud of them. Becca’s mother took into consideration all the way Chris was coming from and it proved to her that Chris would truly love her daughter. All these things pushed her to give them space because she knew that she would trust them.

However, while everything was going well with them, Glad was away attending a certain training in Belgium. Meaning there should not arise some problems between them because Claudia did not do anything. But when Glad came back, he was promoted at his work. Most of his colleagues began to ask him why it was so hard for him to get married but still Glad’s eyes were on Becca, Becca’s heart was on Chris.

After that, it was time when they were about to go back to school. It was good time for them to spend most of their time together. During this time Becca was waiting for her mother to give her school fees but her mother seemed to have nothing to tell Becca. She kept telling her that it was still early. But that’s not the way it was; there was another plan behind that. Later in the afternoon, Glad called Becca’s mother to meet up with him and after work she went down to see him. Glad was also on his way from the city. They met at a nearby hotel at her place and they talked about a number of things.

After meeting with Glad, Becca’s mother came back at home but she was not the same at all. She told Becca that she’s got something to tell her.

Becca’s mother: I want to tell you something and whether you like it or not, you will have to do it because you have no choice and you have to accept!

(Becca did not understand what her mother was talking about and she thought that her mother was drunk)

Becca: mom, what are you talking about?

Her mother did not say anything instead she remained silent and went in her room to sleep. In the morning, Becca woke up doing some things at home, and later in the afternoon her mother sent her shopping at high street. When she tried to ask her anything about school as the school term was quite near, she told her something that Becca was not expected to hear. Becca became so angry and when her mother realized that, she cooled her down and promised to let her know when she came back at home.

Becca respected it and left but she kept thinking about what she was told by her mother all the way. She bought all the things she was told and she turned to go back at home. When she got out of the shop, there came a van in rush and a couple of guys took her inside and she was kidnapped…NEXT PART.

Last time Becca was done explaining to Chris what happened and then Chris deleted all the photos from his phone and he was willing to let her know his decision.

What happed?

Chris: after hearing what you have said and looking at the photos, I want to let you know my decision from my own understanding.

(Becca realized that what Chris was saying sounded weird in her mind and she became aware of what he was gonna say)

Becca: I am listening!

Chris: I want to begin with these photos. According to what you have said about them, it is obvious in your eyes that even though you shared a room with Glad, I know that you didn’t lie to me intentionally as you mentioned in conversation. However, allow me to tell you one thing, I don’t want to live a life that doesn’t trust you; I don’t want you to lie to me anymore. You made a good decision to come to my house before my reaction, this proves to me that you are honest and no one can accuse you of what happened. I could be making unfriendly decision if I say that you did it out of your plan. Honestly, honey I forgive you for telling lies and that it wasn’t your intention by the way!

Becca was kind of dreaming. She turned around slowly and looked at Chris with happiness. She looked at him for a little while and she laid her arms around his neck as she stood up.

Becca: Chris, am I forgiven now?

Chris: yes, I forgave you!

Becca: Chris, I swear to God that I can never cheat on you. Forget about it. I can never and I will never dream of making the same mistake. I love you and I couldn’t be able to hurt you intentionally! Anyway, you were so angry at me, do you still love me like before? I want you to be honest with me.

Chris: Becca, please don’t take me back, I love you! I was mad and I couldn’t realize what I was doing with love. When I was on the bus to Burundi there was a couple besides me. They were talking about love story, honestly the advice the guy was giving to the girl remained in my heart. I love you and I won’t be selfish in this love. You are the most valuable part in my life. I am ready to do anything possible for you. Frankly, you are the source of my happiness and I couldn’t live a life without you. I know that whenever I do something that pleases you, it makes me happy too.

Becca: Chris, I guess the story you heard from them was incredible!

Chris: of course it was. The story the guy was telling his girlfriend about true love had encouraged me and I changed my mind straight away! I got off the bus and called you.

Becca: so I want you to tell me about kind of story!

(This is a true story)

Chris: ok, here’s the story. (Remember that the guy was criticizing the way nowadays love which he said is selfishness!) The guy told his girlfriend these words “once upon time there was a loving couple. Both of them loved each other so much and it was clear to everyone. Later on, the country was in the time of war between Christians and Muslims in England and the man was sent to the battlefield to fight for his people. In the middle of fighting, the man was caught and taken to the king as a captive. The king asked his soldiers to kill him but the man cried so much for the mercy. The king asked him why he was crying as if he didn’t know the instructions of war. The man said, ‘I am not sorry for myself, I am very sorry for my wife who is still young. I love her so much and it saddens me that she will be a young widow when I die.

The king: Does she love you?

The man: Yes, she does. 

The king: Because you said that, I am going to test if your love is true. Write her a letter asking her to cut off her right hand and send it back to us, and if she does it I will let you go back home and spend your life with her!

The man wrote the letter and sent to his wife. When his wife saw the letter, she decided to cut off her right hand and sent it back to her husband. The king was very surprised! He kept his word and released him to go back home. He went back home and spent a happy life with his wife.”

Becca: wow! Such an amazing story!

Chris: I will love you likewise. I want to trust me. So that is the story that is likely to come back in mind and I can relate to the fact that in relationship you have to trust your partner.  Imagine how this man trusted his wife and she didn’t hesitate to cut off her hand. She would find another man and forget about his husband but she was willing to rescue her husband from the king’s bondage. She didn’t think of herself, she was not selfish. She did the right thing. 

Becca: I think every lover should have this perception and get rid of hypocrisy!

In the room, Chris’ mother was not asleep. She came in the living room and found them laughing. She didn’t laugh with them but she turned to her son.

Chris’ mother: Chris, if you ever make Becca sad again, I will not allow you enter my house.

(Chris and Becca laughed at the same time)

Chris: mom, how do you know that Becca did not hurt me?

Chris’ mother: she came all the way from south; do you think I am a stupid? Take what I have said into consideration!

Chris: I got you mom. I will never do that.

While Becca and Chris were restoring their relationship, at Becca’s house, her mother got back home and she didn’t find her there. She asked Becca’s brothers if Becca was at home and they said no. she didn’t make it such a big deal and in that moment, she received a message in her phone from unknown number saying “Becca has become a prostitute in the city and the proof is that when she comes back home, she will tell you lies” Becca’s mother felt like she was dreaming and called that number but it was unavailable. She called Becca but she didn’t answer her phone.

Becca was saying goodbye to Chris and his mother the fact that she didn’t notice that her phone was ringing.  They accompanied her as they were both laughing with joy. Becca and Chris were on speaking terms with each other. When Chris and his mother went back home, Becca grabbed her phone and called her mother to let her know that she was coming back home. The phone got through and she was surprised for the person who answered the phone and the words she was told!

Last time Becca was so sad after realizing that Chris had gone to Burundi. Chris’ mother was very confused about was happening. While both of them were in that state of sad, Chris called Becca on her phone.

 What happened?

Becca stood still and she stopped crying and turned to Chris’ mother…

Becca: Chris is calling!

Chris’ mother: ok answer the telephone.

(Becca’s voice was not good but she tried to cool down)

Becca: hello!

Chris: please I want to meet you; I am at your place now. How can we meet?

Becca: (she started to cry again) why did you turn off your phone Chris?  How could you leave me that way?

(Chris’ mother was totally confused and she couldn’t understand what they were talking about. She was feeling pity for Becca)

Chris: I want to meet you. That is what matters the most!

Becca: I am at your home with your mother now. I just came to explain everything to you.

(Chris’s mother grabbed Becca’s phone and said to her son that “Chris I want you to come back at home right now. This is an order”)

His mother asked him to come back but Chris was also very weak and he decided to come back home. He took his phone again and called Becca.

Chris: honey, I am coming back for you.

Becca: thanks. I am waiting for you.

She cooled down but due to the fact the she cried so much, she was giving a loud hiccup! (Amazing love).  As a mother, Chris’ mother realized that Becca was so tiring and she asked to take shower and rest  while she was waiting for Chris to come back. She did it and she fell into a deep slumber. At the same time she was full of thoughts about what happened and how she would explain it to Chris.  Obviously, Chris’ mother was fond of Becca. She began to prepare something to eat for her!

On way back Chris was also thinking a lot about how Becca made decision to come at his home to give him an explanation. Remember, Chris turned off his phone and later on he realized that he was also not perfect. He kept thinking all the way back what Becca had done that could not be forgiven. He came to the realization that he couldn’t have behaved that way toward Becca. He remembered the story he heard when he was on the first bus going to Burundi; that if you can’t give your partner time to explain, then you are selfish. He thought that it was not a good idea to refuse to talk to Becca and took his way. He said to himself that he was going to listen to her and compare her explanation with the photos. However, remember that all of these things Becca and Chris were going through are the consequences caused by Glad and Claudia. Becca and Chris had no hand in it.

What about Glad and Claudia? Last time Glad was asking Claudia to help him fall in love with Becca and he would give her a lot of money after the deal. Claudia was a money lover and she kept saying  

Claudia: let us sit and make some plan. I will pay the bill of what we’re gonna take in the restaurant!

Glad: so tell me what I can do to win Becca’s heart.

Claudia: it is very easy now since Chris has all the photos. I know they are not going their separate ways but if one of them makes another mistake, will bring a bad spirit in the midst.

Glad: (said fearfully) you see what you have done to me? All the mistakes will be placed upon me when Becca sees the photos.

Claudia: do not lie to her. You have to tell her that it’s me who did it and she will continue to trust you.

Glad: that’s okay!

Claudia: I know that none of them is happy now. They are still so sad these days so we actually have to cause them another trouble!

Glad: please get to the point.

Claudia: I want to think about something that Chris can do and hurt Becca so much and you will take advantage while they are not on good terms. I have a person who knows Chris very well. He will help me through and I want to assure you that within a few days you will see the result and pay me my money.

Glad: what are you going to do?

Claudia: leave it in my hands. I know what hurt girls the most. I don’t want Chris and Becca to be together either.

Glad: but why don’t you like them?

Claudia: honestly, I don’t like them and the way they seem to be better than others!

Glad: maybe you don’t like them, but obviously, these two persons are very kind and friendly. I would make both of them my friends but I love Becca so much!

While they were planning, Becca was also about to wake up at Chris’ house. She got up and came in the living room but Chris’ mother was not inside. She picked up her phone to call Chris but before the phone got through Chris arrived at home. Chris looked at his beautiful lover in her mother’s clothes. Becca looked at Chris’ eyes with love even though there were so many problems between them. She took his luggage as she was one of the households and kept it. She came back and hugged him gently without making any sound and tears began rolling down her cheeks. None of them said anything as they were hugging but after a little while they sat down. Becca wiped tears from her eyes and cooled down. Chris’s heart was beating and he was kind of having nothing to tell Becca. In that moment Chris’ mother entered the house and said

Chris’ mother: Chris, you are here already? When have you gotten up Becca?

Becca: Chris has arrived very recently and I just got up few minutes before he got home.

Chris’ mother had prepared a good meal for them. They ate together and after eating Becca washed the dishes. Chris’ mother was tired and she told them that she wanted to take a nap. She left them talking in the living room. Immediately Chris approached Becca and took his phone out of his pocked and said

Chris: I want to match the photos with your explanation and the lies you told me the night it happened.

Becca saw the photos and she became speechless when she saw herself on one bed with Glad. She didn’t cry anymore but she chose to tell him the truth of what happened.

Becca: Chris, I am very humbly in front of you now.  I consider you as my future husband. I am going to tell you the truth then accepting and forgiving are in your hand.

Chris: tell me, I have come back to hear from you.

Becca started with when Teta was sick before they left school (in episode 14). She told him about what happened when she reached the bus station that she couldn’t find a bus due to a large number of students who were there. And how she met with Glad who gave her a free ride and the car was broken down on the way. She told him everything happened that night. She told him that she decided to sleep in hotel but she didn’t realize that the hotel ran out of the rooms, only one room was not taken and Glad asked her to sleep together with in that room which was remaining.

Becca: to be honest, I refused because I didn’t want to share a room with him.

Chris: who paid hotel?

Becca: Glad paid everything.

Chris: then what happened after sleeping in same room?

Becca: I chose to spend a night sitting down on floor but when I fell asleep Glad took me up on the bed, I want to be honest with you that nothing happened intentionally and Glad did not dream of touching until morning.

Chris: so if it was not your plan, why did you lie to me?

(She remained silent for a little while)

Becca: actually put yourself in my shoes. Would you tell me the truth if it happened to you at that moment? I thought I would tell you the truth after getting out of it peacefully. I didn’t want to make you crazy. I know that if I told you the truth, you would do the impossible to remedy the situation. I thought you would come all the way from your house to see me which was not good. To be honest, I chose to tell you lies for the sake of your security.

(After Chris had heard the truth, he thought about it and turned to Becca)

Chris: who do you think took the photos?

Becca: I think this was planned and organized by Glad but he is defeated.

Chris: does he date you?

Becca: no. he said he loves me and I told him I love you!

(After hearing all explanation, Chris deleted all the photos and said)

Last time Becca was going to back to the city where Chris lived; to meet with him and explain to him face to face. Chris was also going on a trip we don’t know.

What happened?

Chris’ mother accompanied him and they walked talking.

Chris’ mother: my son, you are looking totally different today and you seem to be very sad. What happened to you? You made this decision to visit your aunt in Burundi without letting me know. And you don’t even know your aunt’s address.

Chris: mom, I am feeling as usual and I don’t know why you saying like that. Honestly it was in my plan to visit my aunt and I will come back with Uncle Joffre from Kinshasa.

Chris’ mother: okay. When are you coming back?

Chris: I will come with Joffre.

His mother wished him goodbye and she went back home.  As a mother, she realized that her son was not well and obviously he had no plan to go to his aunt’s. It was just because he was nervous about what happened between him and Becca. He felt like he could be relieved only if he went far from Becca. 

He took the bus and began his long journey. This happened at the same time Becca was also on bus the coming to Chris’. The two lovers were so sad and it was no longer easy for the two to sit and remedy the situation.  On the bus Becca kept calling Chris, however Chris turned off his phone due to the fact he felt like he had nothing to do with her. Becca was wondering where to start if she met him but she didn’t know that their buses were driving the same road. She said “its okay, even if he could break up with me, I will accept it as long as he gets to know the truth. I know it’s my fault but I want him to know the truth”.

Love kills softly, Chris was kind of missing Becca and thinking about her all the things they’ve been through together but he was not able to talk to her on phone. He didn’t want to hear Becca talking to him and he kept weeping all the way. He thought about how much he used to trust her but when he looked at the photos again, his heart hurt more and more.

On the bus,  a young couple sat next to him and they were talking to each other happily; sharing stories about love and different things. The girl was telling the boy how she loved a guy with all her heart and yet her partner was playing her!

The boy: so what happened after knowing that he played you?

The girl: I hated him!

(Chris was listening to them)

The boy: this is what I don’t agree with lovers. Because I know that love cannot turn into hatred if you truly love someone. You would not hate him if you loved him truly! You left him because he ruined your plan. I will give you an example, do you love yourself?

The girl: I love myself of course!

The boy: great! I think we have the same understanding then. Imagine if you go to the market to buy shoes. And then when you get there, you begin searching the good ones for you among others. And when you finally find them; you agree upon the price, then you pay and go back home with your shoes. Now you get home and find out that you’ve made a mistake the fact that one of a pair does not resemble the other. How would you feel? Wouldn’t you feel so sad?

The girl: when I make the same mistake, I would be sad.

The boy: you see, you can be sad but no one could be accused of your mistake. What would you do to yourself if you make the same mistake?

The girl: nothing. I can only try to search a shoe that resembles a pair I would like to buy.

The boy: that’s good! This is same as love. Guess why you can’t beat yourself for the mistake you’ve made. Ask yourself why you could not give yourself any punishment. Because you love yourself! In love when you make decision just to reduce your pain, you will be selfish. As I told you through that example, there should be reason why you make a mistake and take a wrong shoe. Maybe you could be in rush, or distracted, and at the end of the day you will regret your money and time due to the mistake you’ve made by choosing wrong.  Sometimes you don’t commit suicide after being sad or punish yourself in another way. However, you try something else to make yourself forget what happened to you. This is exactly how you can understand someone who played you for they could have different reasons. If you don’t give them time to explain then you are hurting them beyond you can imagine. When you are walking in the forest, you take the risk of being hurt by thorns. This is how I understand love! Often time we ignore our mistakes and blame our lovers for a little mistake.

They talked about a number of things and everything from their conversation teased him. They were like judging him. He started thinking about love and everything they talked about. Everything the boy talked about was quite common to Chris’ situation. Actually he wondered if it’s worth going away from your love as if she is your enemy.

In fact, Chris had a lot of things going on in his mind about his love but he had no strengths to speak with Becca. He had no control…wondering if she loved him and if she slept on the same bed with Glad. At the same time he was thinking that Becca was a trustworthy person but the photos and Becca’s lies proved to him that she did it. He thought about the long journey and he remembered that his phone was off and Becca could have missed him on phone. Amazing love! Chris started a war in his mind and his heart was judging him about the way he was acting through that time.

He had no idea about what to do. Allow me to come back to Becca. She was driving back to Chris’ place and finally she reached there.

On the other side, Glad was looking on his watch as if he was waiting for someone. After a little while there came Claudia from the opposite side and Glad approached her.

Glad: you are playing a death game, next time you will lose your life.

Claudia: (she laughed) you played it cool. I have received the money on time!

Glad: so give me the disk of the photos.

Claudia: here it is. Deal is done. I have seen two things in the photo. It seemed to me that you two did not have sex; secondly, Becca did not want to sleep in the hotel with you. You love Becca, right?

Becca: I am not at peace; please tell me where he has gone. I need to talk to him right now!

Chris’ mother: I am sorry, Chris has gone to Burundi and I think he’s reaching so far right now.  And I don’t know why he didn’t let you know about this journey!

She was not able to be patient with the fact that Chris had already gone. She began to cry in front of his mother. She thought about all the times she tried to reach out to him on phone and that it was not easy for her to find him that moment. She was so sad! She cried over and over again until when she called Chris again but his phone was still unavailable. She didn’t know what to do or anything would help her to meet with Chris. Chris’ mother tried to comfort her and she was also asking Becca what happened between them and why both of them were not happy. Becca did not say anything. Last time the photos of Becca and Glad in the hotel were sent to Chris through whatsapp!

Who took the photos during that night and what happened then?

After looking at the photos, Chris remembered the way Becca lied to him on phone that night that she was home. However, she was in hotel. He was very nervous wondering if it was real Becca as he kept looking at the photos with Glad over and over again. He was deep in thoughts and sometimes he could not believe it was Becca but again, he thought about the two times Becca lied to him on the phone! Immediately he remembered why he asked her to talk with her mother on phone just to say hi, but she didn’t allow. Chris began to realize that Becca did everything intentionally! He prepared a message for Becca but at the end of the day, he was not able to send it. He seemed to be losing his temper but he didn’t know what to tell her. Eventually he took the initiative and wrote her like this “You are a big liar, evidently you are still on journey. You are not trustworthy yet but you have been playing me. I don’t need any explanation now; I have everything with me now”.  He sent it and turned off his phone.

(Quick as a flash the message was delivered to her but she did not read it immediately because she was a little bit distracted by Glad)

Glad: is Claudia your classmate?

Becca: Yes, we study in the same class.

Glad: it is rumored that she’s a prostitute, and I saw it myself last night.

Becca:  how did you know it?

Glad: she just came in the hotel with an Arabian man.

Becca: meaning all the people come to that hotel are prostitutes? Or you are making fun of her!

Glad: no that’s not what I am talking about.

Becca: so this means that Claudia saw us together at the hotel? It could be worse than before!

Glad: don’t worry, she didn’t see us!

Obviously, they were mistaken because Claudia saw them before Glad. Who is Claudia? I will take you back a little bit in episode 13 where the group of girls who were not interested in Becca wanted to separate them. They were led by Gasaro who was later sent packing. Claudia was one of the girls who were beautiful but behaved in a bad way. She was not eager to study; she used to spend most of her time with men who were not even the students. Obviously she was a prostitute the fact that before going home, she stayed in hotel with a man. We don’t know if they were friends but you are going to see it in the story.

It happened at the same time when Glad was going to pay the rooms, Claudia was at the hotel already and she saw him and she wondered who would come to spend a night there with him. Remember, Glad taught her when he was still a teacher. She just waited out of curiosity to see his company. After a little while, she was extremely surprised to see him with Becca! Becca was beautiful and everybody could tell it! Claudia found it hard to believe it and she said “No one to trust in this world” and when Glad was done paying the rooms, Claudia said into her heart “I will sell this news, they pretend to be good in front of people” that’s when Glad went back to bring Becca to show her the room she would sleep in. Claudia went back in her room and brought the camera of the man she was with and gave it to someone (one of the hotel cleaners) to take photos of everything they would do in the hotel. This was a deal because Claudia accepted him some money.

Claudia: do it and I will give you ten thousand francs.

Hotel cleaner: ok tell me and I will do it as you say!

Claudia: here’s a camera and no flash. And it is set to auto shoot. So come with me I will show you the room you should put the camera in. and put it where it can take everything I need.

Hotel cleaner: I will do a good job. Trust me; I am used to do such things! Make sure you pay me early morning.

This is how the camera was set in the room where Glad and Becca would sleep before they entered the room. Remember, in the morning after checkout, Becca went out after Glad. The hotel cleaner, entered the room and took the camera and gave it back to Claudia. She uploaded the photos in her phone and sent them to Bibio. Remember Bibio in episode 13. Claudia said “please send that message to Chris and let him know that he trusted untrustworthy person, and take advantage on Becca while she will be not on speaking terms with Chris”. In that morning, that’s when the photos were delivered to Chris.

Let us come back to Becca.  When Becca opened her phone she saw Chris’ message and she became speechless. She did not speak with Glad anymore until they reached home. Glad said bye to Becca and pulled away at his work. Becca’s mother was also going to work and they couldn’t talk in that morning. Becca entered the house and greeted her bothers and then took time to read the message again. She was convinced undoubtedly that somebody else told Chris about her staying in hotel with Glad. She remembered that Glad said he saw Claudia in the same hotel they slept in. However, she thought Claudia wouldn’t do it but Glad. She phoned Glad immediately and said to him “you are the worst person I have ever met in this world! I don’t know your interest but you did it wisely and I couldn’t realize. I wish I could never have met you and I don’t want to see you again”. She hung up. Glad wondered what was happening to Becca who had no problem when they were still together.  While he was thinking about that, he received a whatsapp message and he saw his photos with Becca in the hotel. It surprised him and he was totally confused! The photos came with a message saying “I need five thousand francs or I blackmail your secrets. You have an hour to send the money on my account. After an hour, you will find everything on social media with this title ‘A teacher was caught having sex with his student’”.

Glad felt like the sky was falling upon him and he had nothing to do right away. He got up and opened his office and he realized why Becca phoned him. Immediately he supposed that Claudia did it. He phoned the number that sent him the photos and it was unavailable. He had no idea of what’s going on and he decided to call his friend David.

Glad: I need your advice, things are going very bad.

David: what is that?

Glad: I made my plan and it was successful but someone else wants to benefit from it. They are asking five thousand to keep it confidential. Honestly I am not sad because of the money, but the shame Becca might get if this is known by everyone.

David: make it clear please! I don’t understand.

Glad: actually you know how much I love Becca. I have had the chance to show her that I love her and that I respect myself through my life. When I was driving from the city, I pulled out my car spark plug intentionally and the car was not able to start anymore. I was intended to spend the night with Becca in a hotel without doing anything bad to see whether she could trust me and change her mind so that she would come back to me. Then I convinced her that we had no choice other than sleeping in that hotel. It wasn’t easy for her to understand but eventually she accepted and I lied to her that the rooms ran out in order for us to share one room. I didn’t do anything all the night! It looks like Becca was beginning to trust me but someone else is ruining my plan. They took photos of everything that went on in that night; I and Becca on the same bed in a hotel room and Becca know now about this situation. She just put everything on my head and yet I don’t even know who took the photos. What should I do?

David: (said astoundingly) AMAZING LOVE! Please you have to pay that money without delay before the photos are spread far beyond; make sure you know the truth to tell Becca about what happened. If she accepts it, she will trust you like before. It will prove to her that you are honest!

Glad: thank you so much David!

David: I want to talk to you after this Glad. You actually have to let go of this game!

She became hopeless and began to cry, regretting what she did as well. After a long time of thinking, she decided to meet with Chris and tell him the truth. Remember Becca did not know how the photos were taken, she thought that Chris might be told some things and she wanted to explain it to him. She was not at peace since she reached home from school. She decided to go back in the city to meet with Chris right away. She didn’t tell anybody about her leave. While Becca was making that decision, Chris was also preparing for another trip. He was so sad and he had no strengths in his body and sometimes tears would roll down his cheeks. After getting dressed, he got up and said bye to his mother and left.     NEXT EPISODE

Last time Glad entered Becca’s room and closed the door.

What happened?

Becca was so scared and Glad started talking to her gently!

Glad: don’t worry its okay!  Do not think of anything that I can’t do!

Becca: so what have you come to do here?

Glad: please hold on; if you want me to go in jail than screams!

Becca: ok tell me what you want here.

Glad: please, keep this in mind. I respect myself and I always protect my reputation. So please don’t take for granted what I need to tell you!

Becca: ok, I am listening!

Glad: I am very surprised! They just ran out of the rooms. The time I came to pay, there was only one room remaining. There are so many students sleeping here like us.

Becca: then what do you want?

Glad: what don’t you understand? I am not a glutton that I am going to eat you alive, please let me sleep here so in the morning, we will continue our journey!

Becca: I was such a fool! Sure. Was this your plan? Probably the car was not even broken down!

Glad: Becca, do not think of nothing about me; I was thinking that you are kind woman but I am surprised! I will go out and sleep in my car no matter what happens to me.

(As soon as he opened the door, Becca pulled him back and said calmly)

Becca: I would rather go out. Please sleep here and I will sleep outside in your car.

Glad: it is not good to complicate things like this. I have told you the truth and it’s contrary to what you are thinking about. Because you don’t want to trust me, I will let you sleep here then we meet tomorrow morning down below.

Becca: hold on, take it easy! What is your wish? And I am so sorry, trusting someone is not a once and for all process.

Glad: I wanted us to handle this situation peacefully! This is a king size bed. I will lie on the edge and you will take the other side. And if you find me making weird movement, scream for help!

While they were handling the problem, Becca’s telephone rang. (Remember, in the holidays, the students are given back their phones) This was Chris trying to reach out to her on phone that night! She got heart beat and she was thinking of what to tell him.

Glad: who’s calling?

Becca: it’s Chris. What should I tell him?

Glad: don’t be young, answer the telephone quickly and tell him that you have arrived home safely and talk to him like you guys use to.

Becca: (she answered telephone) yes honey!

Chris: have reached home love?

Becca: (she remained silent but she had no choice) yes I have reached home very recently!

Chris: ok great! I am not comfortable where I am, I wanted to make sure you reached home safely!

(He hung up the telephone immediately and Becca complained with Glad about telling Chris lies)

Becca: you deceived me and I told him lies!

Glad: so what would happen if you tell him the truth; that you are in hotel with Glad? And again you have to know that sometimes falsehood solve problems instead of telling the truth and break trust!

Becca: you are wrong! Truth does not ruin things, unless you deliver it differently! So what would be ruined if Chris knew all happened to us?  

Glad: ok that’s how you understand it. So shall we sleep now?

Becca: I can’t lie to Chris that I am at home and then sleep with you. Sleep on bed and will spend night on the floor. I am bothered anyway.

Glad: ok

Glad chose to sleep and Becca chose to be sitting on the floor all night long. At dawn, Glad woke up to take shower and when Becca woke up she found herself lying on the same bed as Glad. She was insisting before she fell asleep, but she didn’t know how she got on the bed. She checked herself and she found out that nothing happened. She was still in her clothes and Glad did not try to touch her! Then when she was thinking a lot about that situation, Glad came back and said,

Glad: I am sorry, you were just falling into a deep slumber and I decided to bring you on the bed. You suspected what I could never do for you and I can never think of hurting you; you know that I love you. Ok I think you want to go to the bathroom, you will find me down below with a mechanic.

He went outside and Becca went into the bathroom to take shower. In the bathroom, she began to think about Glad, how he didn’t force her to sleep with him. The person she didn’t trust before; she thought Glad might be a good friend who has good morals and when she came back into her room, Chris was calling her on the telephone.

Chris: how do you feel to wake up without attending the class?

Becca: it’s very good, but to wake up knowing that I will not see you is not easy to bear it in mind!

Chris: be strong love, very soon I will come to see you and I hope we will have a good time together!

Becca: I will be glad and I look forward to meeting you!

Chris: are you still in bed?

Becca: no, I just woke up.

Chris: honey, what are you doing now?

Becca: my mom wants to send me somewhere.

Chris: can I say hi to her if she is woken up?

Becca: no, she is still sleeping. I will tell her when she wakes up.

Chris: ok. We will talk later.

Becca: it’s okay honey!

Becca lied to him about everything the way she was not expecting to. However, she felt like she had no other explanation. She knew she had done nothing wrong but thinking of the way she told him lies since last night, Becca burst into tears! She was sad but she thought she had no choice. After getting dressed, she just got out finding Glad outside with the car and it was fixed and they pulled away.

They drove talking all the way and Glad began to tell Becca about his character.

Glad: I know that a person a lot of things in mind but you realize their wrongful acts once they commit them. So I can’t do what you thought I would do.

Becca: I apologize to you for my mistakes about last night, like I was not able to trust you but I am sorry for what happened. You would behave in the same way if you were me…I am still feeling strange about spending a night in hotel with a man.

They kept talking through their long journey until they reached there. Becca was mentally judgmental to herself. She was kind of judging herself about the choice she made at the hotel.

I want you to follow the story. On the same day, Chris received a message in his phone through whatsapp. He saw so many photos and he downloaded them. After seeing the photos, Chris felt so scared and got heart beat. He thought he could be dreaming because it wasn’t easy to believe what he saw in the photos. When Becca was in hotel with Glad someone took them photos. He took everything from the very start until morning and he sent the photos to Chris. He took these photos professionally and everything was quite clear to Chris. The photos were accompanied by these words: Chris this film was shot in hotel jut to hurt your heart. NEXT EPISODE

Last time love was growing so quickly between Chris and Becca. However, Becca’s mother and Glad are planning!

What happened?

Becca’s mother:  go ahead. I will never regret what I can help you now.

(Glad was very happy to hear that from Becca’s mother)

Glad: that’s great! If people are together, nothing can stop them from loving each other and it is always difficult to love someone in a distance. I think if I would be teaching Becca right now, we could be in love. So this is what I wanted to ask, is it possible that Becca changes her school next year so that I will be able to see her quite often?  We can get to know each other very well. Don’t worry about the school fees, I can help you!

Becca’s mother: Glad, stop beating about the bush. I know what you are talking about. I want to assure you that next year Becca has to study here in our district and trust me that I have authority over my daughter and she can always accept my decision for her schooling. I always even wonder why she doesn’t like you. You are a handsome guy and you are not poor and how come she made you feel this way! I am going to deal with it and you will see the result as soon as possible!

They made plans but they didn’t realize that love needs no mediator to work out. Becca and Chris were so deep in love back in school even thought they were about to sit for exams but they could not allow each other to be lonely! They could take few minutes to talk and use them effectively! And they were satisfied! Their love grew strong and made so many people jealous. Bibio, one of the school singers and Chris’ neighbor back home was also jealous of their love.  Her companions began to encourage her saying “Chris shares talent with you and you guys come from the same town, how can Becca win Chris’ heart before you?”   

Gasaro was also Jealous of Becca because Becca was so smart and that she performed excellent in their class. Gasaro and her clue convinced Bibio to destroy Becca’s love intentionally!

Bibio: I have never loved Chris and of course he doesn’t like me, but as you said it bothers me to see them together and happy every day. They seem to be like prince and princess in love’s kingdom.

Gasaro: you see, you and I have the same intention. And you know exactly where to start because you know Chris very well due to the fact that you sing together and you guys live close to each other back home. Let’s do it like this, before we end this school term, we will have school party so try your best to occupy Chris in his rehearsals so that he will not be able to make time for Becca. Becca will start to think a lot about it. Then I myself will be convincing her that Chris does no longer love her; the one she gave her heart and her time hurt her and messed up with her life.

They made their plans however; Chris and Becca did not know anything. During the exams period, Chris’ mother came to visit him at school but she didn’t come alone. She came with another man and it was kind of a surprise because Chris was not informed of that visitation! When they arrived in school, they began to look for him but the disciple master helped them to inform Chris of his visitation. When Chris was coming happily toward his mother, he saw someone else with his mother and he stopped smiling.

Chris: mom, don’t tell me that this is my uncle I only saw in photos?

Chris’ mother: this is your father’s brother. Yes, he is called Joffre and of course you knew him only in photos. He went to England when you were four years old and he is coming back right now.

Chris felt like Joffre was his real father and he hugged and the tears rolled down their cheeks! Chris asked his mother why she did not tell him that she would come with his uncle so that she could have prepared, but his mother said she didn’t know it too! After a few minutes of conversation, his mother asked him.

Chris’ mother: where is Becca?

Chris: I can tell her to come and say hi. Remember, I was not informed the fact that she is not prepared.

(Becca came along with Chris and she greeted them and she was seated with them)

Joffre: I am glad to see you and honestly I think about you and I want you to come to England when you finish your secondary school to continue postgraduate studies.

(Chris and Becca looked at each other and remained silent)

Joffre: Chris, does it sound clear to you?

Chris was kind of speechless. What seemed to be the good news to him became a problem and he didn’t hesitate to say something.

Chris: uncle, I feel like it’s not easy to leave my mom alone!

Chris’ mother:  don’t worry; I and Joffre have already talked about coming to see you every holiday!

(Chris and Becca were so scared when they heard that Chris would not be able to come back to Rwanda for holidays)

Chris: (he said boldly) uncle, this girl is called Becca, she loves me and I love her so much! So how would I be staying in England without coming back? Or she will always come over with my mom? There is a university here, why can’t you let me take my undergraduate studies here?

(His uncle looked at him laughing)

Joffre: stop talking about your love that is burning inside you all! You have to think about your future, that’s all!

They kept arguing with each other about going to England until they went back home. On the other side Becca had nothing to say about it however, she was thinking that if Chris left the country, she would regret falling in love with him. And when Chris’ mother and his uncle left, Becca started a conversation with him.

Becca: it’s not wise to stop you from going abroad from your undergraduate studies, but I could be telling lies if I say I will not be sad and lonely!

Chris: I know one mistake I will never make in life, leaving you! And I know for fact that I will not be able to study without you.

It was time about to go in the holidays. Bibio and Gasaro had their plans ruined. After exams Gasaro was caught drinking and she was sent packing. And others including Bibio were afraid of making any mistake. They didn’t have any bad plan against Chris and Becca due to the fact that the school party they were expecting did not even take place.

It was time to go back home for holidays, this was the worse days for the two lovers. While others were happy to go home, Chris and Becca were so disappointed to leave each other. Even though love was driving them crazy, they got excellent marks on their school reports and they passed! As soon as they finished getting school reports, Chris left the school immediately as he was needed by his uncle back home. Becca accompanied him but they were both sad. It wasn’t as easy as you might think to bid each other goodbye! Chris assured Becca that he would be coming to visit her in those holidays and that they would be talking quite often on phone. Chris left and Becca went back in school to prepare herself to leave too. Becca arranged everything and when she was about to leave her friend Teta got sick and she thought she could not leave her alone.  They passed the hospital and Teta was welcomed immediately because they were still in their school uniforms.  Becca waited for Teta quite long and finally Teta was hospitalized and Becca was obliged to contact Teta’s parents to come and take care of her! In the afternoon, Becca entered the room where Teta was lying to say goodbye!

She left and when she reached the bus station, there were so many students waiting for the busses and the majority was going in the same direction as Becca. She didn’t buy a ticket yet she decided to call her mother to explain to her the problem she had. Her mother said she knew many people there and she assured her that she would find someone to give her a free ride. Becca came out of the bus station and stood on the sidewalk near the gas station. Immediately there passed a car and pulled over, he rolled down his car window and told her to get on. It was Glad and Becca got on the car and they drove south. It was around 5pm and Becca started having a conflicting mind just wondering about that free ride. She had a weird feeling about it and Glad drove talking to her and they shared jokes. In the middle of the way the care began to cause troubles in that night and eventually the car broke down.  Glad got off the car to check and he came to found out that the problem was very serious.

Glad: we could not keep driving!

Becca: Why?

(He cooled her down and he explained to her that it wasn’t his fault to have his car broken on the way)

Becca: ok, can I use your phone? I can call my friends who live here to accommodate me tonight!

(He gave her a phone but the person she called was not available on phone)

Glad: what is the problem?

Becca: I will go!

Glad: ok. I can find you a moto taxi. Come early tomorrow. I will find a mechanic to fix the problem.

(She took a moto taxi and after a little while Glad saw Becca coming back sadly)

Glad: what happened?

Becca: they are not available. They went in the city to visit their relatives.

Glad: don’t worry Bacca, there is a hotel quite close, I can pay two rooms: one for you and another one for me then we meet here in the morning.

(She had a lot of thoughts in her mind and after a few seconds she accepted it)

Becca: ok, I can sleep there.

Glad went to the hotel to pay the rooms and came back to tell Becca that everything is fixed. Becca did not blame herself because she had no other alternative. She was not used to stay in hotel but she accepted it that night. She entered her room and put down her bag and sat on the bed thinking. Suddenly Glad entered her room and closed the door.
